Privacy Policy

This notice explains how Sarmaya Labs handles browser-based tool processing, hosting information and optional website analytics. It applies to the current static tool release.

Browser-based processing

The current Word Counter, Hashtag Formatter, Video Title Checker, Aspect Ratio Calculator, JSON Formatter, SRT Timing Editor, Transcript Clip Planner and Video Clip Maker process the relevant text, values or selected local media in your browser. The Video Clip Maker uses browser media and canvas APIs to record the selected clip locally; it does not upload the source video or exported clip to a Sarmaya Labs server.

Video links and source material

The Video Clip Planner does not download videos or retrieve content from YouTube. It accepts user-entered transcript text and timestamps. Only provide material you own or are authorised to use.

Hosting logs and third parties

Cloudflare Pages serves this website. Hosting providers may process standard technical request information to deliver and protect the site.

Optional website analytics

When PostHog is configured for this deployment, optional analytics start only after you select “Allow analytics” in the consent notice. We use page views, tool-page opens and basic tool-button action identifiers to understand which parts of the site are useful. Automatic click and input capture are disabled, and session recordings are disabled. We do not send text typed or pasted into tools, form values, uploaded file contents, video content, subtitle text or JSON data to PostHog.

PostHog may process technical event information such as the page address, referring page, browser and device details, and network request metadata. The consent choice is stored in this browser. When you allow analytics, PostHog may also use first-party cookies and browser storage to maintain an pseudonymous visitor and session identifier. You can reject analytics in the notice or change your choice below. PostHog processes data under its own privacy policy. Previously collected analytics events are handled according to the applicable PostHog project retention settings.

Future changes

If we introduce advertising, accounts, payments, server-side uploads or additional external APIs, this notice will be updated to explain the information involved, the purposes of processing, retention and applicable privacy choices.
